When I moved to Merritt island from Texas, it was to my surprise that our local donut shops did not have or even know what kolaches were. Thankfully now, I can get my kolache fix from the Kolache bar!!! 10/10 hits the spot every time! I always get a sausage and cheese but they have a ton of different fillings to choose from.

Ok, so, my good friend sent me a link to this pastry shop at 9am today. She already had me with doughnuts, but when I saw 5 star rating on Yelp, I had to go! So we did a few hours later! Aside from the doughnuts, Kolache Bar serves (you guessed it) kolache. A bun made of sweet bread and filled with sweet or savory fillings. First of all, soft, fluffy bread is my kryptonite. Maybe because I grew up on Wonderbread. Remember how you would roll them up into a doughy ball? Anyway, my first bite of the kolache, let me tell you, brought a sweet symphony throughout my body! The bread is so light, fluffy, soft, with a hint of sweetness. You pair that with the savoriness of the filling (we tried the bomber, the chicken enchilada, the Italian chicken , and the chorizo and egg) and my tastes buds were singing that Usher song, Yah ! Each had a deliciousness of its own, but my favorite if I had to choose, were The Bomber and chorizo and egg. As for the doughnuts and the fruit filled kolache, H-E-A-V-E-N! Freshly made by the owners who are a husband and wife team from Texas (considered the kolache capital, apparently). They are so friendly and welcoming. Their bakery is clean, well lit, modest, located in a strip mall on Merrit Island. Two sets of tables and chairs. My friend and I dined in, but I noticed most their customers ordered to go, which we did before we left. The food speaks for itself! I highly recommend this gem! It s a 26 min from me, but so worth the drive!

The food is next-level!!! Ignore any negative comments in reviews - because I literally don t know what they re talking about and I almost missed out!!! We discovered this place and went six times within the first week! You can tell EVERYTHING is made fresh. And EVERYTHING is delicious. But ask for recommendations They know their product and can point you to the right flavor! The coffee is also delicious. They re one of the few that know how to do iced coffee right. Rich, creamy and not watered down. I can t praise them high enough and I m so thrilled to have something like this in Merritt Island!!

I have been waiting forever to try the kolaches!! I m from Texas and haven t had one in 15 years until today. The Kolache Bar not only delivered on amazing food, but the customer service was so amazing and I can t wait to go back! They also let us try the new pumpkin donuts as a free bonus and we instantly had to go back and buy all the rest. DELICIOUS!

This was such an incredible addition to the Island! The food is unique and so delicious! Perfect for a quick breakfast that you swing in and and pick up on the go. You HAVE to try them out. Once you do you ll be a lifelong customer for sure !! The owner is very warm and friendly and honestly done such a great job. It can definitely be hit or miss when new businesses open on such a small island but this is 100% a HIT !! So glad they are here and I hope they stay !! This is by far one of my favorite breakfast places. Hopefully they ll do lunch one day !!

Absolutely loved my experience at Kolache Bar! The food is consistently delicious, and I can t wait to try everything on the menu. I try to make it a weekly stop, and I always grab a few extra items because it s so good you have to share. Nathan is a standout employee his kindness and excellent service really enhance the visit. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food. Plus, the generosity shown by the staff is truly appreciated. Highly recommend! 5 stars! Thank you!

such an amazing place with amazing food! had kolache for the first time in houston and been looking for them ever since and this place has the best ive had! very fresh, flavorful with pillowy dough! ive eaten them 2 days in a row:)))) dont even get me started on the strawberry and cream danish it is heavenly. amazing people, great owner! 100000/10 would recommend!!!!

Best Find on Merritt Island! A hidden gem, truly! These Czech delights are amazing and will not disappoint! The savory Kolache are pillows of deliciousness!!! They offer a great variety for both breakfast and/or lunch! Their fresh made donuts are to die for!!! The blueberry glazed and pumpkin spice were out of this world! Go now!! They open at 6am and close at 1pm. And they they are open 7 days a week! Not many places around here like that!
